What We Do

Proper welding for proper machinery.

From worn bucket teeth to seized pivot pins, TU Services fixes the jobs other welders won't, on-site or back at the workshop.

Onsite Welding & Repairs

Mobile MIG and stick welding, straight to where the machine is. Minimal downtime, no towing costs, no stripping the yard.

Digger Bucket Repairs

Bucket rebuilds, wear pads, hardox liners, back-blades. From 1.5t mini diggers up to 30t excavators.

Telehandler Buckets

Grain, muck and earth-moving buckets repaired, re-toothed and reinforced. Strong as new, priced fair.

Tooth & Adapter Fitting

New teeth, new adapters, welded on hot with the correct prep and penetration. Geith, Esco, Cat, Komatsu and more.

Line Welding & Line Boring

On-site repair of worn pivot pins, bosses and bushes. Welded up, bored out, back in service without removing the boom.

Custom Fabrication

Brackets, frames, gates, animal pens, trailer bodies. Tell Tom what you need, he'll make it.

Agricultural Welding

Muck spreaders, toppers, trailers, tractor loaders. Farm jobs welcome, out-of-hours call-outs sorted.

Trailers & Bodywork

Trailer chassis repairs, pickup bodies, headboards, tipper liners. Welded, rust-treated, primed and back on the road.

About TU Services

Run by Tom Unthank. Welding where it's needed.

TU Services is a mobile welding and fabrication outfit based in South West Scotland, covering Dumfries & Galloway, Ayrshire, the Borders and down into Cumbria.

Tom takes on everything from a cracked bucket on a muddy building site to full custom fabrication jobs in the workshop. If it's worth doing right, he'll travel a couple of hours to get it done.
